Dr. Heather Moroso was very helpful to me and a good naturapath doc. I know she has helped alot of patients in Tucson obtain their cards.

I want to get card

Hello All! I am very interested in getting a medical marijuana card. I have severe pain in my legs and lower back sometimes and I have used marijuana (illeagaly) to ease the pain. It works very well exept for the low grade mexican stuff. I would love to be able to be legitimate. I see a lot of forms online, but I also see I need a doctor, which I do not have. Any sugestions would be greatly appreciated ,,,,,ashamedFroggy

Don't be afraid to tell the doctor if you have used MMJ to relieve symptoms on the past. They like the honesty and assures the doctor that the medicine is effective for you...

I was honest and explained that mmj was the only thing that has helped me. I have had Catscans and various prescriptions for meds and none helped nearly as much as mmj. Doc's can't help us unless we are honest with them.

thnx migrainehater and cool blue, I will tell the doctor proudly that I use pot and it helps a LOT, I can't even imagine having to use prescriptions that are very hard on the body organs, Like the warnings for the same drugs on the tv say,, may cause kidney or liver damage... I'm Glad the PEOPLE voted to allow kinder means of pain relief. I will go and exercise my rights tomorrow , at least at trying to be legal.

I got APPROVED!! folks at 420 are very cool, everything went smoooth, so now to legally medicate. this is a 3 day success story!! AND I can cultivate if I want Which I do want to, and am. I would like to sample some strains to see what I should grow?

I got certified at AZMMCC http://www.arizonamedicalmarijuanaclinic.com/ they are based out of Phoenix, but come down to Tucson every other week.

I applied back in August or September with seizures. I submitted my records release online and heard back from them a few weeks later that they needed additional medical records.

My PCP sent a note to them that he did not approve of me obtaining mmj, but at last was required to release MY records where I requested.

Fast forward to the last week of December. I get a call in the morning from AZMMCC saying that they needed additional medical records (again) I said, OK, I know, but I have only had the two seizures you already should have all my relevant records. That afternoon, they called me again to say that I had been approved.

I scheduled my appointment for the first week in January and walked into an office with about 10-12 other people waiting for their appointments. I was seen about 45 after my appointment time and the rest of it went smoothly. They were helpful and professional enough, but if I were to do it all again (and if I had found this forum sooner) I would definitely try shop420 first.

The end result was the same, but I should have had my card in early September and considering that I have had to drop randomly since September, it kind of irritates me. Especially given that seizures are clearly defined as a qualifying condition.

I got certified through 420.org downtown, Dr. Heather Moroso was very helpful and easygoing as well as completely compassionate towards the use of marijuana for medication. I was only down there about an hour and had state aproval that day and my card , lets see I went on Wednesday and got card in mail on Monday. seemed pretty fast to me,It sure is all cool like that to be legal.

Will her office file every thing with the state for you and be able to just pay the office for all services at once? And then have your card sent to your home from the state ?How long does it take and is there a charge if not given the referal

Yes, Dr. Moroso's office does all the paperwork. You will receive an approval before you leave the office. You will receive your card in 5 business days.

All you need are your prescriptions to verify you have chronic pain. Tell the doctor how MMJ helps relieve the symptoms

what was your total cost at 420 for doctor exam and all paper work sent into the state? I guess you could say out the door cost! Cash check or bank card ? taken

Hello everyone! I found all of this information very useful as I am also going to try to get my card. I have chronic pain in my head due to my body making to much spinal fluid. I went to get my pain medication yesterday and they did a random urine test and found small amounts of marijuana in my system and are now not going to give me any more pain medication. I use the mj on occasions for when the pain is really bad because I know im not legal to smoke it. Now I have more reason than ever to get my card! Is this a legitimate reason to get a card? Also can I be honest with my neuro doc about smoking legally for pain or will he to turn me away from his office as my PCP did as he is the one that gives me the pain meds.

I went to a place called Tumbleweeds health clinic, they are on east broadway..dont remember Dr. s name but they charged 300 total. I was approved very quick, all i took were old ER visits and a drs report of a surgury.Very simple and quick

I got certified in Bisbee at a place called the clinic....520-432-6065   Dr Julie Schourup.....I received my certificate today....she charges 60 dollars for the first visit and 45 for each additional visit.....Nice lady, Painless>>>>>>>

well I guess Im goina try and do this myself, get registered online. I now have allmost all I need having paid 13 bucks for 2 2x2 picks yesterday..I dont hav printer or scanner so its to UPS Monday to print out the acertation form and upload everything in pfg files to my worm drive excepy the pic, they want a jpeg or Gif........Very excited to start the path to healing......I am thinking I dont hav the expertese to grow myself and alltho I know i can figure this out I will probably be looking for reputable person to grow for me....I need hemp oil and I met last night with a member of this forum who allso need hemp oil as we both are aflicted with the same disorder and live in the same town..Its weird having the same symtoms that so far, no hospital can tell us what we have.....Our symtoms mimic RA and my blood test came back with a hit that I had, in some time in my life been exposed to hep C......I will not know if I actuially hav hep c until Jan 8th when I see a new doc in Tucson who will tell me the results of the test I just had where they actually try and grow the hep c virus from my blood....I am so hoping i dont have this but the fact is I have something serious that hasent beeen addressed yet.....Driving me nuts not knowing and doing all I can to trat myself Naturally Including Colonics and herbal meds monolaurin and nettle and milk thistle.....Anyone who can assist in the path to finding out more about rick simpsons hemp oil, and ive watched the video, Id appreciate info......We talked last night about what could possible cause us to have the same symtoms in the same town and frankly this is pretty scary...How many more in Sierra Vista have been hospitilised for this and we will never know.......Seeking advise and blessings for my journey, kentuck
