Moved this from another thread about caretakers....
This is an interesting thread..... I was told that in order to have a caregiver, I would have to change my cultivate status from "not approved to cultivate" to "approved to cultivate". I can't grow where I live and for that reason I didn't request "to cultivate" when I initially filed for my card last April thinking the dispensaries would open right away (big joke). Along the way, I've met someone who has offered to be my caregiver so I changed my grow status with AZDHS last week. Did I need to do that? What is the advantage of having a caregiver; do they grow the strains you want at much lower or no cost to the patient except for paying the caregiver fees? I have no idea it works and it sounds a little too good to be true, which means it probably is. I'd love to hear what those of you out there think about the whole caregiver option, pros and cons.
