The Mayan's tablet (which only the top half was ever been found), was written in 400 BC. The Mayan's were indeed insightful and their understanding of planetary rotation and placement is remarkable, considering the lack of any technology or resources we take for granted these days.
But they certainly were not that smart. After all they poisoned and killed off their entire population, unintentionally. And in about 100 years, they were extinct.
Loved seeing all of the end of the world parties across the globe yesterday. I'll admit, I didn't party and different that I will today or tomorrow. Lot to be said about the saying "only the good die young". The older I get and the more **** on my that hurts or stops working, I often wonder how I ever made it past 30 ? Growing up in the 60's and 70's, we never expected to live to 30 anyways, and I know I lived that way. If I'd of known I was going to live this long I might of taken better care of myself.
World ending, I doubt it. But if it does I hope that we can still all hang out together on the other side.
