Tomorrow is a big day for me. I am purchasing a fully equipted hydroponics tent. I am a beginner but have tremendous motivation and hope this becomes one of my passions.
6x5 tent, includes 600 watt hps maxlume, valuline 600 w switchable ballast, can lite carbon filter, centrifugal 6" fan, luminaire 6 reflector, the table, and inside the tent is shiny reflective material.

There might be a change of plans. I got on the growhouse website and found incredible deals so tomorrow i'm going to check it out. I should have lights by tomorrow. I might go with the Master! Couple of quesions: Since me and my girlfriend will both be growing, how big should a tent be for 24 plants? Also, I have no idea what kind of table I need to grow hydroponically and everything else that is within the table plus nutrients, etc. This is he only thing I am missing (table, water pump, stuff like that).
IF you did'nt get your lights yet, BY all means go with !,00 watt switchable ballast and the best bulbs u can afford a . Lighting is the most important part of yield, it all breaks down into wattage and buds,,,, low wattage = smaller and fewer buds more wattage = bigger buds and more of them ,, you can fit 24 plants in 5x5 but it gets tite, best to have two grow areas and staged 7 weeks apart, that way you can clone and keep growing new stuff all the time,,,,,,,,,, it takes dedication, its like having a lil baby around, u will probably really get into it though, growing becomes its own addiction
I have Two 4x4 tables and reservoirs I could sell u cheap, but hydro is really a lot more difficult than soil, Lots that can go very wrong, with soil u water every 2 or 3 days and watch out for bugs, males and hermes. hehh, heh good luck brother
Hydro, I'm going to get there eventually,, I love to watch "limbo" 's grow on you tube, by far the best on there . I have equipment picked up from people who sold it, its high set up costs, I like the ebb and flow system,
