Attention Caregivers!

Tucson Police Department has been running a sting all week targeting patients/caregivers/cultivators and anyone legal within prop 203. These police officers do not care about the law, they do not care that an overwhelming number of city of Tucson voters supported prop 203.

The strategy is this. TPD officer will pretend they are a patient and contact you via phone or text. They will text or fax over a very real looking ADHS green card. Once you arrange to meet them to share or donate medicine (as is legally permitted within prop 203) they will already have arranged to arrest you. The officer posing as a patient will show you a very phony looking medical marijuana card - it appears to be a copy of a legimate card with a different photo over the original photo. You can tell a legimate card by its holographic security procedures. We do have a copy of this fraudulent card and hope to share it with the Craigslist community soon.

Once you meet them, most caregivers notice the badly copied card and refuse service but at this point you are already close to being arrested. They will push you to make a donation of medicine, very often flashing a large amount of cash and trying hard to get you to further incriminate yourself. Go ahead and give up at this point but do not admit anything, you have done nothing wrong. At this point a large number of Tucson Police Department wasted resources will arrest you and they are seizing vehicles, homes, TV's and turning your children over to CPS.

Do not accept a bail amount - you are not a criminal, do not plea bargin - you are not guilty. Stay strong! Do not talk to the police at all!

ATTENTION PATIENTS:

TPD has been seizing caregiver telephones and posing as legitimate caregivers willing to share medicine with you. If you grow suspicious during a call do not meet that caregiver hangup and report that number to your local Copwatch activists!

We have reports of patients being arrested and them facing very serious charges.

OUR LAW ENFORCEMENT IS OUT OF CONTROL AND ARE NOT HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR ANY MISDEEDS.

PLEASE BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL _ THEY ARE NOT RESPECTING ADHS GREEN CARDS, THE POLICE DO NOT KNOW THE LAW.
