Dispenseries opening=Growing Patients shut down?

Ok I cant say I know all about the law ...but to sum it up my question is.....As soon as any one of these dispenseries open are we to lose our cultivating rights immediately?  This is what Ive been led to believe..so please tell me if its true.. What does the state expect us to do? if we're in the middle of a flowering are we just supposed to just chop our babies down ?  I mean come on thats insane!! And what about the money weve put into these systems? Do they not care that all patients can't afford these dispensery prices? Great maybe Ill have to get back on my meds that my insurance pays for..u know synthetic heroin, THAT they'll pay for !!!

This is a good question;

I was under the opinion you loose your grow rights when you go to renew and the rights lasted till then.

At this time we can grow until a new card is issued. The state says they don't have the means to do this so when you renew if a disp. is open you can not grow.

wow i just got my card in the nick of time but sounds like this 25 mile rule isnt going to last very long due to how crazy it is. It seems many are ready to pursue law suits if it sticks. Let me know what i can to do to help .Isnt there a petition somewhere?

I get my card renewed tomorrow. Looks like I will be able to grow under the rules for another year.
The 25 mile rule needs to change. How much$ are the dispensarys going to charge $50 an ounce? I live on a disabilty check and cannot afford to pay $600 a month for meds. Get rid of the 25 rule.

I am in Pima county outside Tucson city limits.

Does anyone know of a site which shows elected representatives by location?

Ideally, where I enter my address and and all elected officials pop up???

$50 a zip?? What kind of quality do you get for that price? I hear of 4 oz chuncks of Mexican Brown brickweed, full of seeds for $200, but nothing of serious qualit for that price.

Try more like $300 - $400/oz if it's any good.

For what it's worth, the dispensarys are supposedly going to be charging in the range of $400+ per oz, due to huge upstart costs associated with licensing, remodeling for business opening, etc.....

Unfortunate, but true. I hope they get tied up in the legal limbo and never open, or wind up gettting shut down for some technicality. Then we'd have the card and the cultivation rights to supply ourselves for an extended period.

They are going to charge a fortune. They are allowed to re-coup costs. And the costs are going to be great. The law initially required they grow 100 percent of the medicine but as usual Humble and his crew have bent the rules to make the state sponsored drug cartel easier to do business. To hell with us the patients. In any case here is some of the high costs... first the owner will pay himself a very large wage (look at Goodwill another "non-profit" the CEO makes over 3million a year) and this will be legal, then they must cultivate 70% which is a lot of medication for 126 dispensaries supplying 31k patients.. then they have to pay for the growers, the trimmers, the bills, the set up, the property, the taxes, the fees and a licensed physician on staff, the rental or ownership of a retail location and help, a bookeeper, a tax attorney, a private attorney. So consider several hundred thousand a year at the least.. all of which will be charged to you the poor and the sick.

So what do we do? WE BOYCOTT EVERY FRICKING DISPENSARY.. IF THEY TRULY CARED ABOUT YOU AND I THEY WOULD HAVE REFUSED TO OPERATE UNTIL THE 25 MILE RULE WAS STRICKEN, THEY WOULD HAVE INVESTED TIME AND MONEY INTO LAWSUITS AND PETITIONS. THEY DID NOTHING. TWO... WE NEVER EVER SAY ANYTHING TO THE POLICE OR PROSECUTING ATTORNEYS.. YOU NEVER EVER SAY ANYTHING TO THEM, YOU PLEAD THE FIFTH, YOU TELL YOUR LAWYER TO DEMAND YOU PLEAD THE FIFTH AND YOU GO TO A JURY OF YOUR PEERS.. I KNOW IT CAN BE SCARY, I KNOW YOU CAN LOOSE ALOT BUT FREEDOM IS NOT FREE... AND IF YOU SAY ONE WORD.. EVEN I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT IT WILL BE USED AGAINST YOU IN COURT. SO SHUT UP AND FIGHT FOR YOUR FREEDOM. THIS LAW IS IN DIRECT VIOLATION OF AZ CONSTITUTION AND WILL EVENTUALLY EITHER BREAK THE STATE IN LAWSUITS IF YOU DO IT RIGHT OR CHANGE OR BOTH. IF YOU HAVE NOT WATCHED " NEVER TALK TO THE POLICE" ON YOUTUBE I SUGGEST YOU DO. YOU CAN ALSO CUT AND PASTE THE LAWSUIT OF BILL HAYES IN FEB 2012 AND PAY A SMALL FILING FEE AND BOG DOWN THE COURTS WITH 30K LAWSUITS. A PRE-EMPTIVE STRIKE IS ALWAYS BETTER THE AFTER THE FACT. ASK FOR RELIEF FROM PROSECUTION PRIOR TO ARREST AS FOR THE COUNTY DA'S ARE OUT FOR BLOOD. OUR BLOOD, THE POOR AND THE SICK. WE WILL LOOSE OUR FOOD STAMPS ALSO IF CONVICTED SO BE READY. BUT ITS GOT TO HAPPEN IF NOT THEN WHY BOTHER. AND NOW THE THIRD WAY TO STRIKE BACK... DO NOT RE-APPLY FOR YOUR LICENSE OR CARD. HIT THE STATE WHERE IT HURTS. HIT THE DISPENSARIES WHERE IT HURTS. IF YOUR GOING TO BE A CRIMINAL ANYWAY WHY PAY THE STATE AND GIVE THEM YOUR ADDRESS ETC. ANY MORE IDEAS ARE WELCOME. I CANNOT DO THIS ALONE AND HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR A YEAR WIHTOUT SUPPORT. TIME TO WAKE THE HELL UP.

I've had a caregiver card for a while, but I just got approved for my patient card. I applied to cultivate and was approved on Aug 21, I'm curious to see if my card actually says I'm able to cultivate. I'll let you guys know when it ocmes in the mail :) I know that doesn't change the 25 mile rule, but at least we'll know if they are still giving out the right for now.

Yeah I have spents hours everyday trying to find information, I have studieds the lawsuits from the dispensaries and Hayes for months, but finding anything about abolishing the rule is almost impossible. Its like the people don't care or are waiting for someone else to do something for them. And thats not happening. I have signed every petetion since Hayes. I call all the representatives, the DES, have just slammed Humble to hell publically and on any forum or article for being the sleezy scum ball money monger he is. Brewer and Feds, anyone. I have implored people to not renew licenses. To boycott dispensaries. Ihave been critized and booted of of sites like Arizonamarijuandispensaries.com for telling people to not purchase anything from a dispensary til rule removed. Called an anarchist which I am at 53 and proud of it. Called a selfish b itch which I am not obviously as they try to spew there BS about free meds to vets.. yeah right. So I am here and have been here. I am in Prescott with good old Shiela Polk and her screwed up ideals. Anyway, a few things many may not know if they have not read the lawsuits etc

One is Humble had a fake facebook page to monotor who was doing what and that is how he found out about the loophole for the 150k in the bank for 3 months. That he removed the 150k mandate if no one else in CHAA had an application and the one who did.. well, did not have the money.. then Humble would award a dispensary.. Breaking the rules once again. That many investors just put money into an account of an AZ citezen but they are the real owners. One large mulit million dollar company from CA applied for 51 applications. Now is that not a cartel or what.

That even the dispensary law as written is not only State but Federally directly unconstitutional by denying anyone from outside AZ or more so that anyone who has not lived in AZ at least 3 yrs an opportunity to applie or recieve a dispensary license. Direct violations all around. AZ Govener Brewer and Humble need to be directly responsible for how much money this state will be spending on lawsuits and incarcerations of the sick and poor for illegally denying us the right to obtain our medications from where ever we want, from creating a law in direct violation of the state constitution which directly states no law should be made that is not equal for all.

I am told that if we make waves or do not support the dispensaries and close them down or do not renew our licesnss and break the system that the law will be overturned. What a bunch of crap.. they say they cannot even overturn the 25 mile rule without vote or majority of reps... so we need to re-write this rule. A stand alone issues. We need to gather the 28, ooo of us with cultivatio privledges and spend a coupld hundtred each ( which believe me on a meager 710 SSI I am sweating how to eat and survive but would do it with enough committement) and try a class action... but something needs to be done before next August when we all loose. Me its May and I have over 3k invested, everything I have.. or ever will have..

Oh when I say Humble had a FB page I mean he set it up like a patient, it was a stealth tactic paramount to wire taping if you as me.
