Thank you for the kind words. I've been trying to find the link haven't yet but hope to soon that shows animals have an endocannabinoid systems. I think it might help but not sure if I would give them decarbolized mmj but yes bioavailable. Time for more reading. I have read that mmj can cause respitory distress but have not seen any reports of animal deaths from mmj. Gary I know how hard it is to see one of your babies hurting my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

Hi Folks

Robert from Green Valley. My first post except for P2P. 72 y/o, inept with the web, slow at texting. I love this site. Its made a real difference in my life. Its very much in the spirit of the Haight-Ashbury in 65 where I first experienced Cannabis. It seemed that angels walked among us then and I have the same sense of communion with TMM. But that's what Cannabis does if you let it. It opens the eyes that we may see and the ears that we may hear. The angels sing. TB suffers so from his broken body and yet he is bright and cheerful, compassionate and understanding, always ready to share his high grade grow. Thanks Bob for the C99. Your charity is heroic.

The reason I'm posting is that I have a project that I want to open-source and get some input from the forum. I have been having a problem with tolerance. I took a week off and resolved to switch to edibles. This morning made my first batch of brownies ever. They turned out great, best CB1 bond I have had for a long time. Visions would come when I closed my eyes and in one I was with a group of people walking up a mountain trail. It was wide enough that we walked three abreast with a yard or two between us. Some of the group seemed to be wearing a robe or cloak. The person 10 feet in front of me and a little to the left wore a cloak that had scenes woven into the fabric like a tapestry. There was a fluidity of multiple scenes, scenes within scenes flitted by like leaves dancing in three dimensional space, worlds within worlds. Jacob wore a cloak of many colors, who wears a cloak of many worlds?

The project is the result of a conversation I had with my friend Gary. He has been experience grief and despair for two weeks because his beloved 14 y/o dog Buffy has cancer and severe arthritis. He has been agonizing about putting her to sleep. I mentioned last week that Buffy might benefit from Medical Marijuana. Gary was doubtful. Today he learned that 3 y/o Margo has thyroid cancer and a seizure disorder. He saw an animal surgeon to-day and will see an animal neurologist next week. Gary is devoted to his dogs. Today I told Gary that if Buffy and  Margo were people and if they were friends I would encourage them to ask their doctor if Medical Marijuana might help. I told him that he really should ask the neurologist about it. There is no reason that animals should suffer any more that people should suffer. He seemed to be comming around.

Hence my project. I told Gary that I made the brownies and that I had a half ounce of high grade marijuana fiber/canola oil leftovers with bio-available THC. There is tons of the stuff around. It would be great for Buffy and Margo if we could use some to formulate a doggy biscuit receipt. I thought the east method might be to buy a commercial dog biscuit, break it up into small pieces, mix in the 1/2 oz medical fiber, an egg to bind it together and some flavors to fine tune the taste. Bake till crunchy. I'm still a little high. Don't know how this look in the morning.

Appreciate any input form the forum.

Robert

Thanks for the advice on the doggy biscuits. Gastric distress is a consideration, Buffy doesn't need any more of that. I'm pretty sure dogs respond to marijuana. I saw it in a Cheech and Chlong movie. Also,  CB1 receptors were first  discovered in mice.

If Gary decides to go with Medical Marijuana after a consult with Maro's nurologist, I guess the best way to go is a few drops of cannabis infused  oil into the Kibble and Bits. It will be easier to titrate the dosage having a  known and stable grams cannabis to oil ratio.

God bless

Robert

I think that marijuana helps for animals because my buddies dog has had this infection in his ears, we didnt think anything of it when we noticed he liked to eat the leaves when we'd give him one everyday, i just noticed yesterday that he doesnt scratch his ears anymore and it doesnt make a squishy noise anymore, i believe the thc helped heal his ears.

Thanks for the feed back. I posted Buffy's thread while medicated and perhaps more euphoric than wise for posting on TMM. My sense is that the secret police monitor our conversations. There would be cream their jeans if they could spin animal cruelty charges for sharing my meds with Buffy.
