RE: AMMA “25 Mile Rule”


Dear Governor,

As an Arizona citizen I ask you to pardon all arrests stemming from non-compliance to ARS 36-2804.02(A)(3)(f), also known as the “25 Mile Rule”.

I feel the “25 Mile Rule” of the Arizona Medical Marijuana Act (AMMA) will prevent access to safe and reliable medicine for Patients if it is not rendered null and void before the first AMMA Dispensaries open for business.

Further, I feel the “25 Mile Rule” violates the Arizona Constitution and the US Constitution which you have vowed to protect as our Governor.

Arizonians out side of the “25 Mile Rule” will have added privileges and immunities not afforded to Arizonians within the “25 Mile Rule” which is a direct violation of Arizona’s State Constitution; Equal privilege and immunities.

All Arizonians need to have safe and reliable access to medicine whether from home cultivation or a dispensary, and reap the same privileges and immunities as every other Arizona citizen.

Whether it is one person feeling the hand of tyranny or many, it is the duty of the citizens to petition their grievances.

Please help protect the citizens of Arizona and our Constitution.

I have customized my own, personalized letter and will be mailing it today.  Thank you Bob for the draft.  Each and every member should also personalized a draft of this letter, invest in an envelope and stamp and contact the Governer to file your grievance and petition for the amendment and/or temporary pardon of any/all arrests related to this ridiculous 25 Mile Rule.

I ask that all who draft and send theur own version of this letter please report back to this thread.  There is only power in numgers folks, this is a group effort. We need every patient onboard and active, please. help us help all patients keep cultivating rights which, in turn, will eliminate the monopoly the dispensaries seek to dominate, and keep the cost of our medicine affordable.

I am not a drug dealer, nor will I consider assisting anyone who does not possess or is in the process of possessing a valid, Arizona Department of Health Medical Marijuana card.

Bob has made thos as simple as possible. All you have to do is print out a copy, lick an envelope and stamp, and BAM, you've done something helpful in our group effort fight against the 25 Mile Rule. All you have to lose is a stamp (and a papercut if you're way too stoned). :)
