Hello, I just had a long talk to a reporter from the Arizona Daily Star her name is Carli Brosseau. She would like to interview more patients on how the 25 mile rule effects them. If you are interested pm me for contact info. Thank you all.
Talking points would be the obvious monopoly this creates, unheard of in any other mmj state. Illegal via Arizona State Constitution and an ARS statue that states no State, City or local government can dictate where a patients must purchase their medication (i.e. Like the City of Phoenix coming out with a new law dictating that patients can only purchase antibiotic's and Walgreen's).
Compare the [lack] of quality, strains and ridiculous prices the dispensaries are charging, compared to the high quality, properly cured strains and service you have enjoyed with your caregiver. If you have not been able to find the strains and quality you've grown use to since the dispensaries open, please state that fact and that because of this you are suffering.
Many of us are medically disabled and struggling to live on a very small disability check each month. If we are allowed to continue cultivating our own medicine, or be allowed to have another fellow patient or caregiver cultivate for us, we could continue to receive our medicine for free or the much lower actual production costs, compared to the $80 for 3 grams the dispensaries are charging for sub par, dried out "B"- grade medicine.
It was strongly suggested at the last NORML meeting I attended last month for ALL patients and caregivers alike to start keeping log books, documenting your disappointments and LACK OF QUALITY OFFERED BY THE DISPENSARY YOU ARE DICTATED TO MUST USE, COMPARED TO THE ENJOYABLE, MUCH CHEAPER AND HIGHEST QUALITY MEDICINE YOU WERE ALLOWED TO RECEIVE FROM YOUR CAREGIVER BEFORE THIS RIDICULOUS, UNCONSTITUTIONAL 25 MILE RULE (MONOPOLY) WAS ENACTED.
Sorry for all of the CAPS. Just woke up and don't have it in me to go back and retype.
